Process of writing fifth Arcadis book

I am in the process of writing my fifth book of Arcadis fantasy book. It has been a arduous, yet joyous, time in my life. I really enjoy writing, and to see people purchase my books are beyond words.
The demographics is from age 12-85. People of that age group, I am told by my readers, love my first two books of Arcadis, as I have not yet published the third. Why? Time constraints, book signings, and needing money upfront are an obstacle but not an insurmountable one. I shall prevail!
If you're interested (and really, why wouldn't you be??) here are the links to buy my two books.

Second Book In The Arcadis Series Is Available For Purchase!

I can't tell you how much accomplishment I feel when I see my books I've written online. Additionally, when books arrive at my doorstep for me to start selling, it makes me realize the extent of how far I've come over the years as a writer/author.
My two fantasy books are available for purchase, but did you know I have two books of poetry online? I also have two books online concerning the discussions I have had with my daughter from age five to nine that are hysterical and profound? Click on the links to purchase and to find out more!

Proof Copies Of My Book Came Today

The proof copy of my book: Arcadis: Prophecy came in the mail today. I expected to open it up, read it and approve it so I can get my book out there.
Well, I opened my book and the typeset looked like someone used a typewriter on it. Very disappointed. Now I have to have it redone.
Another delay. I really wanted this book out by Christmas and it's almost Thanksgiving! I am hoping everything works out and it can be released soon.
In the meantime, I plug away reading and writing.

What A Learning Curve!

I tried to format a PDF file from 8.5"x11" to 6"x9" but could not. Yet another delay in the world of self publishing. I had to outsource it because I want it completed correctly.
The self publishing arena is very interesting as I learn from my experiences.
When my second book is ready for me to publish, it should not take nearly as long
as the first one.
Hopefully by tomorrow the file will be correct, uploaded and ready for viewing.

Created a facebook page

I created a facebook page today for the main character of (as of right now) four novellas. His name is Arcadis.
It has been an absolute joy writing him and creating scenarios in which Arcadis has to get out of almost impossible situations.
When the first Arcadis book comes out, I think I will celebrate with my family!

Anticipation

Anticipation for what, you may ask. I am really hoping and crossing my fingers that, by the end of next month, I will have the first out of at least five novellas published.
If everything goes according to plan, I will have eBooks and print books available for purchase. Hence the title for this post.
I will provide more details as they become available. Suffice to say, I am excited, barely sleeping, nervous and biting my nails in anticipation.

How Many Ebooks Are Typically Sold On Amazon?

I read a forum where a writer said the average person only sells seventy-six copies of their ebooks on amazon.
While he did not cite any evidence, it made me think. I wonder if that statement is true or false. Obviously some will sell more while others will sell less, but is that disappointing number true?
It would be rude to ask writers how many copies their books sold, but I would be very interested in knowing. I would tend to think writers believe they will sell more, a great deal more. The same holds true for this writer... I wonder.
